What I Offer
ABOUT ME
As an HCPC-registered music therapist, qualified yoga teacher, and integrative arts psychotherapist in the final stages of training, my practice is grounded in a holistic, creative, and person-centred approach to emotional wellbeing. I work integratively, which means I draw upon a range of psychotherapeutic theories — including psychodynamic, gestalt, transactional analysis, attachment-based and trauma-informed models — and adapt them in response to your unique needs and ways of being in the world. At the heart of my practice is the belief that creativity is innate to all of us, and that the arts offer powerful pathways into emotional expression, healing, and insight — especially when words feel hard to find. You do not need to have any prior experience in the arts to benefit from this process.
In our work together, we may explore a range of art forms including visual art, sculpture and clay, drama and puppetry, sand play, music, poetry and story, and bodywork or movement. The movement aspect of the work is sensitively informed by my training and experience as a yoga teacher, and may include breathwork, grounding practices, or gentle movement to support embodiment, emotional regulation, and self-awareness. My work is also deeply informed by my background as a music therapist; in this modality, music is used as a tool to facilitate profound connection, regulation, and expression. In our sessions, music may emerge through sound-making, song, listening, rhythm or improvisation — always guided by what feels comfortable and meaningful for you.
The arts in therapy are not used for performance or aesthetic purposes, but rather as a means of connecting more deeply with your inner life — your feelings, memories, relationships, and sense of self. Sometimes the creative process itself can offer insight; at other times, we might reflect together on what has emerged and what it might mean for you.
My approach is relational and collaborative: I believe that the therapeutic relationship itself is a vital part of the work. I aim to offer a warm, non-judgemental and inclusive space where all parts of you are welcome — a space in which you can be met with curiosity, care, and respect. As a biracial therapist, I bring a lived understanding of what it means to navigate multiple cultural identities, and I work sensitively with issues of race, ethnicity, belonging, and difference. My practice is committed to anti-oppressive, affirming, and socially conscious ways of working. I also bring experience of working with neurodivergent clients, including those with autism, ADHD and learning disabilities, and I offer a flexible, neuroaffirming approach to the therapy space.
Whether you are navigating a particular life challenge or seeking a deeper understanding of yourself, I will support you to explore at your own pace, using creative tools that feel right for you. My hope is to accompany you on a journey of discovery, integration, and healing — through art, relationship, and presence.

Therapeautic Modalities
Transactional Analysis
With roots in psychoanalysis, transactional analysis focuses on interpersonal communication, particularly the patterns and dynamics of communication between individuals.
Gestalt Therapy
Gestalt therapy is an experiential approach that focuses on the present moment and the holistic experience of an individual. It emphasises personal responsibility, self-awareness, and the integration of thoughts, feelings, and behaviours.
Psychodynamic Therapy
Psychodynamic therapy is a relational, exploratory process that helps uncover unconscious patterns rooted in early experiences.
Attachment-Based Therapy
Attachment-based therapy explores how early relational experiences shape our sense of self and others. Clients are supported to build secure, trusting connections within a safe therapeutic relationship.
